2019 Election Date Announcement: The national election will be held in seven rounds from 11 April and the results will be announced on May 23, the Election Commission said on Sunday. Voting will be held across India on April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19.

1. April 11  - First Phase
2. April 18  - Second Phase
3. April 23 – Third Phase
4. April 29  - Fourth Phase
5. May 6    - Fifth Phase
6. May 12  - Sixth Phase
7. May 19.  Seventh Phase

About 900 million voters would be eligible for Lok Sabha Election, and between then 15 million voters are between the ages of 18 and 19 years.

Result of Lok Sabha Election 2014

In Lok Sabha Election 2014 , PM Modi's BJP became the biggest party and won  282 seats from total 543 seats in Lok Sabha, where the majority mark is only 272. The BJP alliance  National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won total 336 seats. The Nationa Congress  party was reduced to just 44 seats.
